As an award-winning Creative Director, Stu received the 2016 Gold Coast Music Award for Music Video of the Year for his work on Unknown Water. This recognition, alongside numerous accolades, underscores his contributions to the creative industries and his relentless pursuit of excellence.
Stu holds a Bachelor of Design Studies from Queensland College of Art – Griffith University and a Diploma of Graphic Design and Business from Martin College. His academic foundation is complemented by hands-on experience leading creative teams and shaping strategic campaigns for high-profile clients, including Billabong, Red Bull, Westfield Australia, The Fred Hollows Foundation, City of Gold Coast, and Brisbane City Council. He has also partnered with start-ups and small to medium businesses across government, healthcare, education, and the arts.
Stu’s creative journey spans multiple perspectives—working within agencies, as an in-house creative, and as the founder of a successful creative agency. His ability to adapt and innovate has enabled him to craft inspired environments where ideas flourish, connecting with people and driving collaboration that elevates every project.
In 2012, Stu launched the Indisposable Concept, a global passion project celebrating the art of film photography. Rooted in community, creativity, and collaboration, the initiative has inspired a worldwide network of film enthusiasts, with over 4,900 rolls of film contributed to date.
